An Investment in the Future of Adolescent Mental Health

In this initial report from The Upswing Fund for Adolescent Mental Health, we share insights gleaned from nearly 350 applications for Surge Capacity (general support) grants with the goal of highlighting the continued need for philanthropy and importance of providing culturally responsive care.

Recognizing the immense mental health needs and gaps in care for young people across the nation, we call on funders and advocates in the field of adolescent mental health to take action together with frontline organizations to support the mental health and well-being of our youth.

We thank our network of Upswing grant recipients for their leadership and service to their communities, and for sharing examples of the many ways they meet youth where they are and provide culturally responsive care.
